Dude, if I got what I deserved, I would wake up tomorrow morning to a front page story in the Globe saying all those Wall Street thieves are gonna have their hands chopped off for stealing our money.
I’m just finding it entertaining that when Obama bailed out the 1%, it was called socialism. And yet, when people go and protest this very same event, it is ALSO called socialism. The best part is, neither one is being accurately named (the first event is rightly called “Keynesianism”, while the second would be an opposition to the same, from capitalist, communist, socialist, anarchist, or other folk who don’t particularly enjoy their tax money being paid to private parties for the purpose of enlarging their personal wealth). That you would attack this protest because we may seem to be wishing for more taxes that go to serve corrupt interests portrays quite clearly that you haven’t taken the time to understand what is going on here.

LOL! I haven’t had a single raise or bonus since 2005 at a job where I was rated “exceeds expectations” (highest rating) in my performance review every quarter for nearly ten years. So, by all means, yes, I support higher taxes on bonuses.
Hey ghost of Joe McCarthy (aka Trik): Adam Smith, the economist that first described and championed capitalism, said that monopolies posed a danger to capitalism. In other words, the intellectual founder of capitalism says that capitalism requires some regulation in order to succeed. Was *he* a hippie communist? But I doubt you care about facts.
Plenty of outlets up for grabs over at South Station. One person could guard many things while they charge, and we could buy a couple of power strips to really get humming. Please don’t buy a generator.

Everyone should go read Tony Judt’s “Ill Fares the Land.” Excellent explanation of the forces that have changed life for the middle classes in US and Europe. Also has snazzy graphs that might look good on posters and lit. Educate>sloganeering.
FACILITATORS OF OCCUPY BOSTON, PLEASE HEAR ME OUT!
I mentioned this to some of you friday night, and i know a few of you were more or less in favor of this. Boston and its inhabitants live a different lifestyle than New York, it is a very different culture. I SPEAK FOR MANY WHEN I SAY A LOT OF US CAN NOT MAKE THE SACRIFICE TO CAMP OUT NIGHT AFTER NIGHT, BUT WE WANT TO DO OUR PART TO PROTEST! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE focus your efforts throughout the week on having a select CORE group of organizers, protestors, cooks, etc. camping out, and focus our efforts on SPREADING WORD OF THE MOVEMENT! People are just finding out about this, and a lot of us are telling everyone we possibly can. WE SHOULD FOCUS OUR EFFORTS ON HAVING MASSES OF PEOPLE ORGANIZE WEEKEND AFTER WEEKEND TO MAKE SOME NOISE AND TO STAND UP! THIS WILL KEEP THE EXPENSES SIGNIFICANTLY LOWER AND OUR RESOURCES WILL LAST MUCH LONGER, AND THE NUMBERS WILL GROW EXPONENTIALLY! GET EVERYONE TO BRING AT LEAST 1-2 MORE PEOPLE WEEKEND AFTER WEEKEND, AND I CAN GUARANTEE WE WILL HAVE OUR VOICES HEARD IN BOSTON LIKE WE’RE BEING HEARD IN NEW YORK! i am a patriot and i love and care for the american people… i am the 99 %, and this is the only way i see the movement growing!. Please hear me out… this plan is obviously open to change and should NOT be set in stone.
P.S. if you are having trouble getting rid of bread before it all goes bad, make a lot of egg, potato, or chicken salad sandwiches! just a thought.

Please consider something like this http://mnrenewables.org/rent-solar-equipment before buying a generator. http://www.occupymn.org has been about half solar powered so far. It will mean a lot more to have power that is freely given by the sun rather than something we take by force from the earth, and then you in turn take from public outlets without paying.
